If only all midwestern towns were still like this...

Tonight is my last night in Chicago, for a pretty long time, most likely. I'm more than a little bit sad. To celebrate the wonder of bygone midwestern days and the continued charm of small midwestern towns (not that Chicago is--but we've been to/through several small towns while I've been here, so you get the idea).

If you haven't seen Robert Preston play the Music Man, then do it right now. Here--I'll help.

  1. Oh I love this movie so much. So so so so much. And you. Even more. I'm sad you're leaving Chicago, but I am happy you are coming back to Provo. Even if I won't exactly be here when you get back for like a week, but hey. I still like you.

  2. You are my hero for appreciating the old Music Man. Maybe I'm a snob about the Disney one, but I grew up with this one. It speaks to my soul, along with the rest of my family. I love it.
